City of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.
The city is looking to fill vacancies on the new Comprehensive Plan Citizen Advisory Committee.
Members of this committee will help to update the city’s existing comprehensive plan and meet at key times throughout the planning process to discuss issues, overall policy direction, and provide important feedback to city staff, the planning commission, and city council for consideration. The plan sets forth the community's vision, goals, and policies to help guide development and investment decisions.
The committee will:
- Include residents, business owners, and other community stakeholders 18 years or older representing all areas of Commerce City.
- Meet approximately six times over 12 to 18 months; members must participate in all meetings. Meetings will be held virtually until further notice.
Interviews will be scheduled in the order the applications were received and will take place on Oct. 31 and Nov. 7. Call (303) 289-3611 with questions.
