CITY OF BRIGHTON: 2020 Full Moon Bike Rides - Corn Moon Ride to be held on September 1, 2020

City of Brighton recently issued the following announcement.

Date: Tuesday, September 1, 2020

Bicyclists are asked to meet at the starting location at Emi Chikuma Splash Pad and Plaza in Benedict Park (1750 Skeel St). The event is free, but participants will have to sign a waiver. The waiver will apply to all Bike Brighton rides through December 31. Due to COVID-19-related health and safety concerns, social distancing guidelines will be encouraged. Cyclists are encouraged to wear face coverings while waiting, but do not need to wear them while riding. Helmets and bike lights are recommended. Complete list of Full Moon Bike rides (all scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Emi Chikuma Splash Pad and Plaza in Benedict Park): July 8: Buck Moon Ride Aug. 3: Sturgeon Moon Ride Sept. 1: Corn Moon Ride Sept. 30: Harvest Moon Ride Contact: Mark Heidt, Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation Development and the City’s Bicycle Coordinator, at mheidt@brightonco.gov or (303) 655-2170.
