Westminster Public Schools announced on Apr. 7 that it will host an educational event called “CSI Westminster: The Case of the Missing Mascot” from June 9 to June 11 at Westminster High School. The program is open to students entering grades six through eight in the fall and will run each day from 10 a.m. to noon.

The event aims to engage students with hands-on activities involving aviation, biotechnology, and cyber skills as they work together to solve a fictional mystery about a missing mascot. Organizers say lunch will be provided each day, and there is no cost for families.

According to the announcement, space for the program is limited and interested families are encouraged to sign up soon in order to secure a spot.

The initiative provides an opportunity for local youth to explore science and technology topics while developing problem-solving skills during their summer break.

Registration details were not specified in the announcement, but participants are advised that advance sign-up is required due to limited availability.
