Colorado Rapids players Darren Yapi, Noah Cobb, and Bryce Jamison have been called up to represent the United States in various youth national teams, according to a March 22 announcement from the club.
The selection of these three players highlights their ongoing development and the recognition of their talent at the national level. Their participation in international training camps and friendlies provides valuable experience as they continue their soccer careers.
Yapi and Cobb will join Head Coach Russell Payne’s U-21 squad for an international training camp in Cheonan, South Korea. The camp runs from March 23 to April 1 and includes two scheduled friendlies against South Korea on March 28 and March 31. Meanwhile, Jamison has been selected for the U-20 group under Head Coach Rob Valentino. He will travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina, during the same dates for a training camp that features matches against Argentina’s 2007 group on March 28 and Club Atlético Independiente’s reserve team on March 31.
Yapi, age 21, is receiving his second international call-up in four months after participating in the U-21 group’s training camp last November. He has played at nearly every age group within the United States youth system and was named to the roster for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2023.
Cobb, age 20, also attended last November’s U-21 training camp with Yapi. He has consistently featured at youth levels for the United States, including an appearance at last summer’s FIFA U-20 World Cup alongside teammate Adam Beaudry. Cobb also played all six matches—starting five—in the 2024 Concacaf U-20 Championship as his team advanced to the final against Mexico.
Jamison, age 20, joins the U-20 group for his first time at this level. His previous call-up came in May of last year when he represented the U.S. U-19s during friendlies in Spain. Jamison made his debut with a United States youth national team in 2023 and appeared in all four matches of that year’s FIFA U-17 World Cup.
