COMMERCE CITY: City adjusts operating hours and procedures in response to increased COVID-19 risk level

Cdc coronavirus 1000

Commerce City issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.

Commerce City is once again operating under stricter public health orders due to an alarming rise in COVID-19 cases throughout Adams County in recent weeks. Effective November 20, Adams County moves to “Level Red - Severe Risk” on the state’s updated COVID-19 dial; the highest level before a return to Stay at Home measures. Find the latest COVID-19 updates from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment at cdphe.colorado.gov.

To help do our part to curb the spread of coronavirus in our community, Commerce City will reduce public hours at the Commerce City Civic Center (including the Municipal Court) and Municipal Services Center starting Monday, Nov. 23. Both facilities are open to the public on Wednesdays and Thursdays only between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and appointments are required. If you need to visit the civic center for necessary in-person business, make an appointment in advance at c3gov.com/qless. Walk-in visitors will not be accepted at city facilities until further notice.

Please conduct city business online, via email, or by phone if possible. Staff is available Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Visit c3gov.com/covid-19 for the latest updates on city operations, contact information and hours of operation for each department to help you conduct business online or by phone whenever possible. For other assistance and additional questions, call 303-289-3600.
