1000money

Commerce City issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.

The city awarded $91,000 in grant funding to 21 local businesses in the third round of COVID-19 recovery grants.

The grants are funded by a $100,000 additional contribution made by city council towards the C3 Community Assistance Program, which was originally approved by city council in April. This third round of funding encouraged home-based businesses to apply. Qualifying Commerce City businesses will receive up to $5,000 for expenses until other funding sources can be secured through loans and federal relief programs.
