Derby home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Derby rose by $29,500 while total sales decreased by 20.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 38 homes sold, with a median sale price of $249,500 - a 13.4% increase over the $220,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 48 homes sold in Derby in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Derby for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $811, approximately 0.3% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
