Shooting in Strasburg leaves one dead and three injured; investigation underway

Deputies from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning at a residence in Strasburg, Colorado. Authorities responded to the scene just before 2 a.m. on January 11, 2026, following reports of gunfire north of 96th Avenue and Strasburg Road.

Upon arrival, deputies found an adult male with gunshot wounds who was later pronounced dead. Three other individuals also sustained gunshot injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

Detectives are currently conducting interviews with witnesses as part of their investigation into the incident. The Adams County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased after notifying next of kin and determining the official cause of death.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information related to this case to contact them at 720-322-1313. Officials stated that “this is an ongoing investigation, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.”
