On Saturday, Dec. 6, former Northglenn High School standout Sam McFadden’s current collegiate team the Wheaton Thunder won 49-24 against the DePauw Tigers in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.
The game took place at Blackstock Stadium at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the DePauw Tigers in the tournament.
The Wheaton Thunder’s next game will take place on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. at Smith Stadium.
Colorado Rapids players Adam Beaudry and Bryce Jamison have been called up to join Head Coach Rob Valentino’s United States Under-20 Men’s National Team training camp in Bulgaria. Both athletes bring experience from previous international tournaments as they prepare for upcoming matches against Georgia and North Macedonia.
St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans were defeated 10-2 by the West Texas A&M Buffaloes.
The Colorado Rapids will face St. Louis CITY SC at home in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Semifinals on September 16, following victories over San Jose Earthquakes and other clubs en route to this stage. Tickets will be offered first to season ticket members before being released to general public.
