On Saturday, Dec. 13, former Northglenn High School standout Sam McFadden’s current collegiate team the Wheaton Thunder lost 21-46 against the UW River Falls Falcons in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.
The game took place at Smith Stadium at 2 p.m. and was the first matchup against the UW River Falls Falcons in the tournament.
Saturday, May 16 will see these former Adams County area high school stars in competition.
The Colorado Rapids have signed forward Darren Yapi—a product of their academy—to a new multi-year deal extending through at least 2029. Club officials praised Yapi’s progress after making over one hundred appearances since debuting at age sixteen.
These ex-Adams County area high school standouts will participate in competitions on Friday, May 15.
