The Colorado Rapids announced on April 3 that nine players from their first team, second team, and academy represented their national teams during the March international window. The group included athletes called up to senior and youth squads for countries such as Australia, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Mexico, and the United States.

This series of call-ups highlights the global reach of the Rapids organization and provides young players with opportunities to develop through high-level international experience.

First team defender Lucas Herrington made his debut for Australia’s senior national team. Herrington started at center back against Cameroon, helping secure a 2-0 win and was voted “Player of the Match” by fans. He also played in a friendly against Curaçao. Donavan Phillip received his first call-up to Saint Lucia’s senior squad for the FIFA Series in Azerbaijan, where he scored his first international goal while playing all 90 minutes.

Darren Yapi and Noah Cobb were selected for the U.S. Under-21 men’s national team camp. Yapi scored in a victory over Japan while Cobb anchored a defense that conceded only one goal across two matches. Bryce Jamison joined the U.S. Under-20 side under coach Rob Valentino and started in a dominant win over Argentina.

From Rapids 2, Jabari De Coteau debuted for Grenada’s senior team with starts against Rwanda and Kenya in friendlies during the FIFA World Series. Goalkeeper Zack Campagnolo attended training camp with the U.S. Under-19s as part of his ongoing development at multiple youth levels.

At academy level, Aiden Appiah earned another selection to the U.S. Under-15s after progressing through earlier talent identification programs within Colorado Rapids’ system. Alex Hernandez continued representing Mexico at youth level by joining their Under-16 squad for an appearance at Mondial Football Montaigu in France.

These achievements reflect both individual milestones and broader organizational efforts to nurture talent capable of competing internationally.
