Rafael Navarro scored twice late in the match to help Colorado Rapids secure a 4-1 win over LA Galaxy. Navarro found the net in the 85th and 89th minutes, marking his first goals of the 2026 season. He also wore the captain’s armband for the first time since joining Colorado.
Alexis Manyoma added another goal for Colorado, scoring his first as a member of the team. Darren Yapi opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, recording his first goal of the year and eleventh in Major League Soccer.
Paxten Aaronson assisted on Yapi’s goal, continuing his streak with an assist in two consecutive matches. Hamzat Ojediran contributed a secondary assist on the opening goal, also extending his run of goal contributions to two straight games.
Nico Hansen made his first start of this season and eleventh overall in MLS play.
Colorado scored first for their second consecutive match. João Klauss scored LA Galaxy’s only goal in the 56th minute.
