Former Flatirons Academy athlete Evan Moll competes in Division III baseball for Puget Sound on March 7

Former Flatirons Academy athlete Evan Moll took the field for the Puget Sound Loggers at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, when the team was defeated 6-4 by the Occidental Tigers in an NCAA Division III baseball game.

The contest was held at Anderson Field. It marked the squads’ second meeting this season; the Loggers had previously won, 13-11, in a game on Friday, March 6.

Moll gave up four earned runs in 3.1 innings while allowing three walks and collecting two strikeouts.

The Loggers will play their next matchup against the Occidental Tigers at Anderson Field on Saturday, March 7, at 2:30 p.m.
