The Colorado Rapids will host Houston Dynamo FC in a Western Conference matchup at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park on April 11. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Mountain Time, with coverage available through Apple TV, Altitude Sports Radio, Tico Sports Spanish Radio, ColoradoRapids.com, and the Colorado Rapids app.
This match marks the first time since March 7 that the Rapids will play at home. The team has maintained a perfect record at their stadium this season, winning both previous home games against Portland and LA with a combined score of 6-1.
Colorado enters the match looking to recover from a recent 3-2 loss on the road against Toronto FC. Paxten Aaronson and captain Keegan Rosenberry scored for the Rapids in that game. Aaronson has been performing strongly over the past month, contributing five goal involvements—three goals and two assists—in his last five matches. All three of his goals this season have come in his last two games, including his first career brace against Sporting KC on March 21.
Houston Dynamo FC arrives with a record of two wins and three losses so far this season. The team has not secured any points in its last two matches and recently lost at home to Seattle by one goal. In their only away game this year, Houston was defeated by FC Dallas with a final score of 4-3.
Following Saturday’s contest, Colorado will continue its homestand across multiple competitions. The club is set to return to U.S. Open Cup play for the first time since last year when it hosts Union Omaha from USL League One on April 14 before facing Inter Miami CF during its upcoming anniversary match.
