The Colorado Rapids announced on May 23 a comprehensive guide for fans attending the upcoming Summer Kickoff match against FC Dallas. The event will feature giveaways, local food vendors, and a postgame fireworks show to mark the start of summer before the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The club expects a sell-out crowd and encourages fans to use free parking at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park or the Rapids Rideshare lot next to Lot H on 60th Avenue. Fans are also urged to download the Rapids App for ticket access, in-game notifications, and an interactive stadium map.

New food options this season include the Burgundy Bites Value Menu with items priced at $5 such as hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, nachos with cheese, ice cream pops, French fries, bottled soda, and water. Local partners like Taco Bron, Big Belly Brothers BBQ (featured vendor for Saturday), Maria Empanada, 30Forth Kitchen, Infinitus Pie, and GB Fish & Chips will be present at various stands throughout the stadium. Drink specials will be available pregame and postgame with $5 draft beers.

Stadium upgrades include new pyro displays during pregame festivities and enhanced fan experiences such as upgraded team stores featuring new kits and limited-edition merchandise. New trophy cases have been installed inside Gate G and by The Dale’s Bar along with murals celebrating club history at Legends Corner and South Bank.

Pregame activities begin early with tailgating encouraged in Lot F alongside supporters group Centennial 38 or in any parking lot at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park. The Dale’s Bar opens at 5:30 p.m., providing food and drink options throughout the night. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., followed by pregame entertainment including pyrotechnics starting around 7:10 p.m., leading up to kickoff against FC Dallas at 7:30 p.m.

After the match concludes there will be a Man of the Match ceremony followed by fans being invited onto the pitch for a fireworks celebration around 10:10 p.m. Information regarding tickets, parking (which remains free), health guidelines, weather updates, concessions details as well as streaming instructions are available through official Colorado Rapids channels.
