The Colorado Rapids announced on April 17 that their 30th Anniversary Match, presented by UCHealth, will take place at Empower Field at Mile High against Inter Miami CF. The event will feature a pregame Fan Fest, a halftime performance by Denver-based DJ Lane 8, and recognition of former players.
The match is set to be one of the most significant games in the club’s history as it marks three decades since the founding of the Rapids. Fans are encouraged to participate in various activities both inside and outside the stadium.
Parking at Empower Field is expected to sell out ahead of Saturday’s game, with lots opening at 10:30 a.m. Rideshare drop-off and pickup locations are designated separately to help manage traffic flow around the venue. Additional arrival options can be found on Empower Field’s website.
Pregame celebrations begin with a free Fan Fest between Gates 9 and 10 on Mane Street, featuring live entertainment, photo opportunities, interactive games for children, giveaways, local food trucks, and limited-edition merchandise. Gates open at 12:30 p.m., and the first 30,000 fans entering will receive a commemorative ticket. The club advises attendees to download tickets via the Denver Broncos App or Ticketmaster account rather than through the Colorado Rapids app.
Fans seated in the South Stands will receive “Colorful Colorado” rally towels as part of traditions carried over from DICK’S Sporting Goods Park. At halftime, Lane 8 will perform while approximately sixty former players are recognized for their contributions over thirty years.
For those unable to attend in person, updates including lineups and postgame content will be available through the new Rapids App. The game can also be streamed on Apple TV or followed via Altitude Sports Radio or social media channels.
