The Colorado Rapids have loaned goalkeeper Adam Beaudry to Loudoun United FC for the 2026 season. The agreement allows the Rapids to recall Beaudry at any time.
“This loan is about putting Adam in an environment where he can continue to be tested week in and week out,” said Colorado Rapids Sporting Director Fran Taylor. “He’s reached an important stage in his development where consistent minutes and responsibility matter, and Loudoun provides a competitive setting that aligns with what we’re looking for. We remain very confident in Adam and see this as a key step in his long-term progression within our goalkeeper pathway.”
Beaudry, 19, has played twice for the Rapids’ First Team since signing a Homegrown contract on January 10, 2024. He made his Major League Soccer debut on October 19, 2024, against Austin FC, becoming the youngest goalkeeper in club history to start and finish a match. His most recent appearance for the Rapids was on March 22, 2025, against Portland.
Since turning professional on April 30, 2023, Beaudry has appeared in 33 MLS NEXT Pro matches with Rapids 2 and played two games in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. In the 2023 season, he started 16 matches and helped secure the top seed in the Western Conference while being named a finalist for MLS NEXT Pro Goalkeeper of the Year. During the following year, he made six appearances across all competitions and kept a clean sheet against Azteca FC in March.
In 2025, Beaudry played in eleven matches for Rapids 2 with three clean sheets. He also spent part of that year on loan at Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, making six appearances in USL Championship play and one more during the Jägermeister Cup.
On the international stage, Beaudry has represented U.S. Youth National Teams at several age levels with a total of twenty-four caps. Most recently he started every match for the U.S. at the FIFA U-20 World Cup and recorded two clean sheets as they advanced to the quarterfinals.
Loudoun United FC compete in USL Championship based out of Leesburg, Virginia at Segra Field. Founded in 2018 under head coach Anthony Limbrick, they finished sixth place in their conference last season and reached both league playoff quarterfinals and third round of national cup competition.
The Rapids retain recall rights over Beaudry during his loan spell with Loudoun United FC.
