The Colorado Rapids have introduced a new initiative called ‘One Club, One Legacy’ aimed at strengthening engagement with fans and the wider Colorado soccer community. The club plans to conduct surveys, focus groups, and forums to gather feedback directly from supporters.
“One Club, One Legacy started as a simple idea to slow down, really listen, and learn from our fans and the wider soccer community,” said Haley Durmer, Chief Business Officer of the Colorado Rapids. “As we celebrate 30 years of Rapids soccer and look ahead to a landmark moment for the sport in the United States – with the World Cup on the horizon and major changes coming to MLS in 2027 – we want our fans right there with us shaping what comes next. Our purpose is to build an energizing, inspiring, and winning legacy with our fans. This is their club, and we’re excited to build its next chapter together in lockstep with the Rapids community.”
Over the coming months, the club will continue hosting town-hall forums, focus groups, and distributing surveys. A rescheduled Fan Forum and an updated matchday survey are set for launch at the start of the 2026 MLS season.
“Recent conversations and research have indicated that we continue to look at the club’s brand identity, including the name, crest and colors,” Durmer said. “These elements matter deeply to fans, and it’s important that they play a role in helping define their club’s future.”
As part of this platform, areas such as matchday experience, concessions, retail offerings, stadium technology like video boards, in-match entertainment, supporter sections such as The South Bank, premium seating spaces, parking logistics, community initiatives, grassroots efforts, and youth programming will all be reviewed for improvement.
To assist with this effort, Colorado Rapids have partnered with Monigle—a Denver-based brand experience consultancy—alongside Name & Number (a marketing agency specializing in soccer) and ModestWorks (a strategic design studio focused on branding in sports and culture).
