The Colorado Rapids have announced that goalkeeper Zackory Campagnolo has been called up from the club’s MLS NEXT Pro team on a Short-Term Agreement. Campagnolo will be available for selection in the Rapids’ regular season match against LA Galaxy, scheduled for Saturday, March 7.
This marks Campagnolo’s first of four possible Short-Term Agreements allowed during the 2026 Major League Soccer season. Over the past three seasons with Rapids 2, he has made 24 appearances since his professional debut on July 26, 2024. During this period, he has recorded 82 saves, tying him for the most in club history.
According to the league’s roster rules for 2026, teams can sign players aged 25 or younger from their affiliate sides to a maximum of four short-term contracts per season. Each contract can last up to four days and an individual player may be included on up to four MLS league match rosters each year but can only play in two league matches. Players are permitted to participate in any number of non-league games while under these agreements.
