The Colorado Rapids have released their schedule for the 2026 Major League Soccer season, highlighting a significant milestone in the club’s history. On April 18, 2026, the Rapids will mark the 30th anniversary of their inaugural home match by hosting Inter Miami CF. This event will be notable as it is Inter Miami’s first visit to Colorado and is expected to draw attention due to the club’s global following.

The Rapids’ season begins on February 22 with an away game against Seattle Sounders at Lumen Field, followed by their home opener against Portland Timbers on February 28 at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park. The regular season includes several key fixtures such as matches against LAFC and Vancouver Whitecaps.
Colorado will also compete in the Rocky Mountain Cup against Real Salt Lake, having retained the trophy in 2025 for consecutive years—a feat last achieved in 2006. The first match of this series takes place in Utah on May 16, with a return fixture scheduled for August 29 in Colorado.
In addition to facing Inter Miami, Colorado will host Eastern Conference teams CF Montreal on September 12 and Chicago Fire FC on October 31—the latter being their final home match of the regular season and their first meeting since 2019. The Rapids’ schedule features a number of trips to Eastern cities including New York City FC (March 14), Toronto FC (April 4), and Columbus Crew SC (September 5).
As North America prepares for FIFA World Cup 2026, MLS will pause league play from May 25 through July 16. This break allows players selected for national teams and fans to participate fully in World Cup activities. Five MLS stadiums are set to host World Cup matches during this period, while other venues may serve as base camps for national teams.
For broadcasting, every MLS regular season match will be available via Apple TV starting next year. Subscribers can access all games along with additional programming; full-season ticket holders with MLS clubs will receive an Apple TV subscription as part of their package. All Rapids games will also continue airing on Altitude Sports Radio.
