Goalkeeper Nico Hansen will start for the Colorado Rapids in their match against LA Galaxy on Saturday, stepping in as Zack Steffen is sidelined due to injury. Hansen appeared ten times last season, achieving three clean sheets and making 38 saves.
Rafael Navarro will serve as captain for the first time since joining the Rapids. The striker will wear the armband during Saturday night’s game.
Zackory Campagnolo has received a short-term call-up from the club’s affiliate under MLS roster rules that allow teams to sign players aged 25 or younger from their affiliates to short-term agreements. This marks Campagnolo’s second call-up to the first team, with his previous appearance occurring in April 2025.
All players who contributed goals in last weekend’s win over Portland—Hamzat Ojediran, Lucas Herrington, Dante Sealy, and Paxten Aaronson—will be part of the starting lineup again on Saturday.
The match will take place at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. MT. Fans can watch on Apple TV or listen via Altitude Sports Radio. Updates will also be available through the Rapids’ social media channels and app.
