On January 13, 2026, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 17-year-old in connection with a recent shooting in Strasburg. The incident occurred on January 11, and authorities conducted an extensive investigation before making the arrest.

Because the suspect is a minor, officials stated that no additional information will be released at this time. The case is set to be presented to the 17th Judicial District’s Attorney’s Office for consideration of formal charges.

“All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law,” according to the statement from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
