The Adams County Sheriff’s Office announced on Apr. 14 that the 30th Annual Senior and Youth Fishing Festival will take place at Riverdale Regional Park on Saturday, June 6.

The festival aims to bring together senior citizens and youth for a day of fishing, prizes, and community engagement in an outdoor setting. The event is designed to foster connections among different generations while enjoying recreational activities.

According to the announcement, registration is required for participation in both the Senior and Youth Fishing Festivals. Seniors can begin registering as early as 5:30 a.m., with their portion of the festival starting soon after. The youth segment of the festival will commence at noon.

The Sheriff’s Office also requested donations for prizes to be awarded during the festivals. Those interested in contributing are encouraged to email communityconnections@adamssheriffco.gov for more information about making a donation.
